IntelliBuddies® has been used to digitize the Shipment Invoices processes to achieve the set objectives. IntelliBuddies® Buddies have been deployed to perform the following activities:

  • Process shipment notification document coming from multiple manufacturing plants located in different countries across the globe by simply dropping the shipment notification document to a folder.
  • Identify the shipment source and process the shipment document accordingly.
  • Identify the relevant invoice and insurance detail pages from this multi-page shipment notification document and extract the relevant information from these pages using OCR technology.
  • Routing all the exceptions occurred during data extraction to human agents and allow them to clean-up the data where necessary.
  • Verify the invoice amount against corresponding insurance details and raise exceptions for human agents to clarify the differences.
  • Modeling the unstructured data and persisting into Database with facility to see the reports per shipment notification based on shipment source.

Dealer FBT Reimbursement process

The Finance team of leading Automobile industry in Australia had the following challenges while processing reimbursement of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) from their dealers:

  • Collection of multiple taxation document sets from all dealers and verifying for its authenticity was laborious, repetitive, and prone to human errors
  • Oversights due to human interactions
  • High cost of operations

IntelliBuddies® has been used to automate the FBT Reimbursement processes in order to achieve the set objectives. IntelliBuddiesTM have been deployed to perform the following activities:

  • Send emails to dealers, across the regions, on the scheduled date requesting to respond back with the needed document sets in order to process FBT claims.
  • Receive document sets from dealers. Verify document authenticity. Validate claim details.
  • Ensure that the claim amount does not include GST to avoid double taxation.
  • Extract claim data and push into existing Dealer system.
  • Routing all the exceptions occurred during data extraction to human agents and allow them to clean-up the data where necessary.
  • Integrating with their existing Dealer infrastructure for seamless operations.
